Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2003, Hospital de Sant Pau.

Specialist in Ophthalmology via MIR in 2008, doing his residency at the Hospital de Terrassa (UAB), extending with rotations of 6 months -1 year in corneal and anterior surface transplant surgery at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (UB), at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in children and at the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO).

Courses and doctorate courses and obtained the Suficiencia Investigadora (thesis) in 2007 with a grade of Outstanding with the following study: “Combined surgery of vitrectomy via pars plana and penetrating keratoplasty: long term results” at the Vall de Hebron Hospital.

Participant as an assistant and speaker at multiple national and international congresses, with free communications, panel communications, and articles in the journal Annals of Ophthalmology.

Member of the Catalan Society of Ophthalmology.

He speaks 4 languages fluently: Catalan, Spanish, English (Certficate in advanced English) and Galician.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2008-2010: Assistant specialist in cornea and refractive surgery at the Instituto Oftalmológico tres torres (IOTT).

2008-2025: Adjunct cornea and anterior pole specialist at Viladecans Hospital (Institut català de la salut): extensive experience in complicated cataract surgery, secondary implants, amniotic membrane management and corneal transplants (QPP, DSAEK, etc…). Currently on leave of absence.

2010-present: Assistant specialist in anterior pole and refractive surgery at Hospital Quirón Barcelona: wide experience in refractive surgery (LASIKS, PRK; etc…), cataract surgery with premium lenses (toric, EDOF, Multifocal, etc…), and in dry eye and skin treatment with IPL.

2025- Present: Assistant specialist in cornea and refractive surgery at Presbit center, Hospital Quirón Vallès and Sant Quirze del Vallès medical center.
