PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

For 10 years he has developed his professional experience in different hospitals and clinics, both public and private, in two different areas:
Developing functions as an ophthalmologist specialising in glaucoma and refractive (more than 8,000 cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgeries). And, secondly, in terms of management of the ophthalmology service of different centres.

Medical Director and founder of GMD Ocular, a microsurgery and ocular diagnosis group.

Medical Specialist in Refractive Surgery and Glaucoma at the Tres Torres Ophthalmological Institute (IOTT).

Specialist Surgeon at the Hospital Santa Teresa USP La Coruña, during which time he operated on 400 cataracts in 16 days.

Medical Coordinator and Glaucoma Specialist at the Instituto Oftalmológico de Barcelona (IOB).

Assistant Doctor of the Ophthalmology Service as a sub-specialist in Glaucoma, also at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital.

He has been an Internal Medical Resident in the Ophthalmology Department and Head of Residents at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital.
