DRA. MIRIAM CARBAJAL FONTANET
Surgical Medical Retina Specialist. She graduated in Medicine from the University of Lleida in 2006.
After finishing the specialty in Ophthalmology via MIR at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and obtaining research proficiency, she studied a Master in Medical and Surgical Retina at the Institut Català de la Retina-Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICR-UAB) in Barcelona, during 2011-2013.
After finishing her specialty in Ophthalmology, she focused his healthcare activity in the field of medical-surgical retina, inflammatory ocular pathology and cataract surgery.
She has been a speaker at various national conferences. She has been a collaborator and illustrator of the official presentation of the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology in 2012 and is part of the teaching staff of the Master’s degree in ophthalmological nursing at the UAB.
She is a member of the Catalan Society of Ophthalmology and the Spanish Retina and Vitreous Society.
From 2013 to the present, she is part of the Retina department of the Mataró Hospital, being responsible for it since January 2019.
Since January 2019 she works at Presbit Sabadell as a specialist in Ophthalmology.
