BOTULINUM TOXIN
What is it used for?

It is a preventive and corrective treatment, especially used to treat expression wrinkles. It is especially indicated for wrinkles in the “crow’s feet” region, forehead and between the eyebrows.

What are the effects of botulinum toxin?
The effect it produces is a relaxation of the facial muscles that produce expression wrinkles, which helps to delay their formation or appearance.
What is botulinum toxin?

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin produced by a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. It acts locally by blocking the release of acetylcholine, which results in temporary muscle relaxation.

Is it the same as stuffing?
Botulinum toxin should not be confused with filler treatments.
Is it a safe treatment?

Yes, it is a very safe treatment that has been used for more than 20 years in many medical specialties, such as neurology, ophthalmology and many others.

Its popularisation and most widespread use is due to aesthetic medicine, due to its preventive, corrective and rehabilitative effect on different skin alterations (seborrhoea, ageing, etc.) and especially its indication for treating expression wrinkles.

How long does the treatment last?

The duration of the treatment is variable depending on each person and their facial characteristics, the way they move their face, their skin type and their age. The normal duration is between 3 and 6 months. It is usually recommended to repeat the treatment every 4 to 5 months, before the botulinum toxin completely wears off.

COLLAGEN INDUCERS

What are collagen inducers?

They are injectable products that activate the natural production of collagen, the protein responsible for skin support and firmness.

What are they used for?
The main purpose of collagen inducers is to treat facial sagging and to achieve firmer skin. They are also used to improve the quality of the skin without adding volume to the treated area. As it is a product that can be used in different dilutions, it allows a wide versatility in the treatments to be carried out.
When is this treatment usually applied?

It is recommended for those who wish to firm the skin or improve its appearance. It is also recommended for those who have a considerable loss of facial volume after a considerable weight loss.

It is one of the most commonly used treatments to improve the facial region thanks to the wide range of areas and signs of ageing that can be treated with this product.

FACIAL LIPOFILLING
What is facial lipofilling?

Lipofilling is a cosmetic surgery technique used to treat facial volume loss, improve facial contours, correct dark circles under the eyes or improve the appearance of sunken eyes.

What is lipofilling?
It is a treatment that consists of extracting fat, generally from the periumbilical region (around the navel), in order to inject it into areas of the face that need it. This requires a previous process of filtering, decantation or centrifugation and/or emulsification of the extracted fat.
What is Nanofat?

This is a specific lipofilling technique where we use fat with a previous filtering and emulsification process with the aim of improving the appearance mainly of dark circles under the eyes. In this case we do not seek to increase the volume of the area but to improve the appearance of the skin thanks to the collagen-inducing effect and the depigmenting effects of the growth factors and other substances found in the stem cells of the adipose tissue.

FACIAL MESOTHERAPY
What is mesotherapy?
It consists of micropunctures that allow the introduction of small doses of substances that nourish, moisturize and combat skin oxidation. This technique can eliminate fine wrinkles, blemishes and other signs of aging.
How does mesotherapy work?

Vitamin injections (through micropunctures) rejuvenate the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. This is why it is a technique that is increasingly used in young people, as it not only eliminates existing wrinkles, but also delays their appearance.

How long do its effects last and how many sessions are needed?
Facial mesotherapy treatment requires continuity. It is indicated to perform sessions with a certain periodicity that are individualized in each case.
