Graduate in Optics and Optometry from the University School of Terrassa in Barcelona. She has completed her thesis on the study of keratoconus at the Clínica Barraquer in Barcelona.

She has attended numerous refresher courses on refraction in adults and paediatrics (Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Barcelona), refractive surgery, contactology and crosslinking surgery and intrastromal rings.
